Author, Educator & Coach
Danielle's experience of working with young people during periods of crisis, highlighted the importance of building self-esteem, self-awareness and resilience before they are able to progress further into education and successful careers.
These resources aim to equip teachers and practitioners with tools to aid personal development within their students/clients, as well as create workbooks that are insightful, intriguing and interesting for young people.
The first publication, 'MIND: Memoirs of A Young Londoner', is a book which combines story-telling and educational resources on the topic of mental well-being.
Lesson topics fit within the PSHE curriculum and AQA Certificates, and can be accessed via the TES website (tes.com). Sessions include healthy relationships, and social media and self-esteem.
Just like every young person I was going through difficult times and it was very reassuring to know that Danielle was always there for me to talk to, understood what I was going through and more importantly was able to guide me through it by sharing her own life experiences, which really helped a lot. She never told me what to do; she always presented me with responsible options on how to deal with whatever situation I was going through.
It’s fair to say without Danielle I would not be the man I am today, as when I first met Danielle I was a young boy doing what typically young boys would do. [She] told me about responsibilities, structure in my lifestyle, planning and organisation…everything that they don’t teach in school.”
