About Me

Start Here

Hey! Welcome to my little corner of the web. I’m a dreamer with a love for adventure, a big heart and a curious mind.

In this blog, you’ll find a series of reflections, stories and insights focused on personal development, travel and Black culture & community. These themes have followed me throughout life, and they’re topics I’m deeply passionate about. My hope is that these posts spark curiosity, shift perspectives and offer something useful along the way.

I’ve worked with diverse communities across London, lived in different parts of the world, written self-help books, and engaged in great discussions online. This blog is just another space to expand these conversations and weave together the tapestry of life so far.

Why Travel?

I took my first solo trip at 18 and haven’t looked back since! Discovering new cultures, enjoying landscapes, meeting interesting people or going off the beaten path – it’s all part of my life. I’ve often been reminded that others would love to do the same. So, consider this as inspo, encouragement and helpful tips for your own adventures.

Why Culture and Community?

I’m often in cross-cultural conversations about black communities (i.e., Africa and its diaspora) – exchanging perspectives, sharing knowledge and exploring ways to uplift our communities. While social media brings us closer, true understanding is still a journey. With deeper understanding comes greater unity. This is one way of contributing to that ongoing conversation.

By the age of 22, I had spent my summers growing up in Jamaica, lived in Cuba for several months, enjoyed life as a Black British Londoner and spent time living in Miami. In recent years I’ve started to explore West Africa, especially Ghana, where I’ve spent significant time thanks to close friends. These experiences and the range of people I’m surrounded by, have helped shaped my understanding and appreciation of our shared roots and diverse cultures first-hand.

Why Personal Development?

I’ve been trained in mental health support, therapeutic practices and I’m also a certified life coach, with over 10 years of experience. While the work I do has evolved over time, helping people tap into their potential and navigate life’s hardest moments is something I’ve specialised in – and still care deeply about.

Now that you know a little more, let’s dive in shall we?
